"Zoe Berman is a Breath of Fresh Air, Classy, and Effortlessly Cool..."

-E.A. Cook, The FoCo Review

"[Zoe's] song turns into sounds hinting at words, words turn into letters, letters turn back into sounds that blend from one to another and are carried through the lyrics with vocal punctuation, stretching and dancing from note to note, octave to octave, and like a thread being drawn by a musical, vocal needle, pierces my heart and sews me back together into a vibrant whole."

-Bruce Sterling, Boulder, CO

"Zoe Berman serves as the voice for women across the world by addressing the injustice and undue speculation of women’s words in “Something Better.” Berman isn’t out for blood, she’s addressing the fact we need something better than the low standard women find themselves battling today."

-Ellie Herring, 303 Magazine

(New Colorado Music You Should Know - July Edition)

Abridged Bio

Zoe Berman is a singer-songwriter based in Northern Colorado. Her music
presents a blend of soulful jazz and Americana. Zoe sings and accompanies
herself on the piano and guitar, often complemented by a hand-built suitcase
drum played with her feet. Her voice is frequently likened to that of Norah
Jones,  Amy Winehouse, and Rachael Price of Lake Street Dive, her songwriting
style to the likes of Sara Bareilles and Joni Mitchell. Her music has been
described as "bluesy, jazzy and sultry" with songs that are "stretching and
dancing from note to note, octave to octave, like a thread being drawn by a
musical, vocal needle."
